HVAC Service Dispatch / Coordinator

Summary

Join a leading, well established Mechanical /Service Team with a progressive stable environment. We are currently seeking a HVAC Service Dispatch / Coordinator. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, organized, professional, team player who will be instrumental in the success and achievements of Kelson over the long term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures work has been performed to customer’s expectations and performs follow-up with the customer, as needed
  • Reviews labor scheduling to align technician to the appropriate customer and service need
  • Updates service software with all relevant information
  • Assists with creation of T&M quotations, as needed
  • Prepares yearly, monthly and weekly execution plans for service agreements
  • Researches and follows up on action items assigned
  • Ensures that all customer account information is kept up to date
  • Supports administration and resolution of warranty claims
  • Represent and liaise with clients, owners, 3rd party service contractors, team members, and management

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical Engineering/Construction degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
  • Minimum of two years of HVAC service industry experience with service operations and / or scheduling
  • Strong communication skills

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients with a positive attitude
  • Able to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals. Able to positively represent services and communicate with others at varying levels

  • Self-directed and able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of products and in-house systems (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher), preferably in an mechanical/engineering consulting environment
